“Experience is a very important qualification for a lawyer.
Diligence, common sense and sound judgment are also important qualifications.
I work hard to represent the best interests of my clients and to give them sound advice.
Like most lawyers, I advertise my services.
But I prefer to attract work by being involved in my community,
and by doing such a good job for each of my clients that they refer their friends,
co-workers, and even their loved ones to me.”
“At The Childress Law Office, we highly value the long-term
attorney-client relationship.
If you have a legal problem and want help, Give us a call and
let’s see what we can do for you.”
Very Truly, Sidney Childress

approximately 30 civil jury trials and numerous non-jury trials, mediations and
arbitrations in many different areas of the law, representing both Plaintiffs and
Defendants. Trials have included real estate and partnership disputes, product defect
and personal injury claims, as well as civil rights, commercial debt collection and
probate issues. Sidney obtained his first NOT GUILTY verdict as lead counsel in the
defense of a felony case in 1998. Several of Sidney's family cases have resulted in
reported appeals court opinions. Sidney also has experience in the litigation and
settlement of franchise law and Erisa claims, insurance coverage disputes, and
class action lawsuits on behalf of consumers.
Sidney's pro bono commitments have been in the area of fair housing law, and public
nuisance abatement actions that would improve neighborhoods. In his spare time, Sidney
enjoys the outdoors, music, trying to stay fit, and spending time with his friends and
family.
If you are trying to gauge your chances of success in any particular trial, it is true
you should carefully weigh your choice of counsel. We apply common sense and sound
